Henry the Rabbit, “Henry the Rabbi”

Self-described as “psychedelic ukulele skiffle,” Henry the Rabbit is onto something more than just floating about on a wave of good vibes and sweetened harmonies. His debut tape, out now on Moon Glyph, is as deeply dark and mysterious as a hollowed-out drum filled midway with pinata candy. He parses the landscape between flyaway ukulele sweetness and ethereal tones of widened skies—the release is what you'd imagine plays while you hike in the Northern California redwoods. It's beautiful and captivating, psychedelic and warm.

The tape, which by no surprise, released through Moon Glyph, the arbiter of all good things, is called Earthen Birth. You can listen to “Henry the Rabbi” below and then pick up the whole thing here.
