Queens MC Homeboy Sandman released his Kindness for Weakness LP came out last Friday, and in case you needed a reminder, he’s released a bonus track entitled “Kindness for Weakness Out Now”.

Over cryptic drums, searing strings, and a regal horn sample, Sandman muses free associative with a sharp, deliberate flow. During the stream of consciousness freeverse, Homeboy waxes on the artistic growth he’s experienced during his nine-year career, noting “my old records reflect the modern man, my new records put ’em to shame.” He declares, “I never eat organic matter that I really like.” The Stones Throw stalwart also offers a nugget on self-care, advising “shave your coochie with lasers, it won’t grow back.”

Kindness for Weakness is Sandman’s sixth studio album, his second with Stones Throw. The 14-track project boasts production from underground mainstays such as Jonwayne, RJD2, and Large Professor.
