Peruvian pop/rock four piece Hunter of The Alps -expertly comprised of Mario Giancarlo Garibaldi, Jorge Velásquez, and Alex De Renzis, with an additional member for live performance purposes – are revving up to release their debut EP next month. While we wait to add that to our collection, we’ve actually got the premiere of their brand new song “It’s You” to share.

Close your eyes and imagine you’re in the 80’s. That’s the feeling we get with frontman Garibaldi’s seemingly unimpressed, monotonous vocals, paired with the bubbly synth that serves as the thread that holds the song together. The trance-like way he delivers the lines “It’s you, it’s me” repeatedly makes us realize the song might be more of an “us” thing, but we’ll let you be the judge.

Look out for their debut EP on February 17th. Keep up with the band here.
