Jacuzzi Boys, “Be My Prism”

As Miami's Jacuzzi Boys get ready to release their third LP, a self-titled affair, the tracks begin to bubble up. The first, we shared to you in video form for the track “Domino Moon” where the band's live show was documented in all its exuberant glory. Now, we've got “Be My Prism”, a warmly effective track that touches on riots, gives light to the addition of a horn section that we didn't even know the band needed, and is full of singalong earworms that give Jacuzzi Boys their pop-over-punk exactness. The guitar slices expertly through the rest of the track and gives us the edge we're looking for, but it's never too much in any one direction—the poppiness of the track is all we need.

The self-titled third full-length releases on September 10 through Hardly Art and you can pick that up here.
