Juan Wauters, “Escucho Mucho”

A short-playing new track from Juan Wauter's solo debut was released yesterday, and it's got Wauters in his empowered element. Singing in his native Spanish, Wauters willingly lulls the listener with his two-strum guitar tricks and impossibly vintage vocals. The track fades out to—that's right—an electric guitar, reminiscent of Wauters life with The Beets, but also harkening back to days of 60s and 70s psychedelic yore. The result is a fantastic track for Wauters, proving that he is skilled at both acoustic folk and garagey punk.
