Juan Wauters, “Water”

Queens-based musician Juan Wauters may have his place in rock-n-roll trio The Beets, but his solo output is also magnificent and interesting. With an announcement that he'll be releasing a solo album next February, Wauters has released the track “Water” as its first single. With beautiful acoustic melodies and a vintage, retro feel that is reminiscent of a Latin American Cat Stevens or Rodriguez, “Water” is a fluid, lullaby-esque track that helps slow the world down.

Wauters' solo album, N.A.P. North-American Poetry, will release through Captured Tracks on February 4 of next year. You can preorder the record here, then catch Wauters at the dates in New York below.
