Moron, “Confusion Foundation”

Caitlin Greene

Moron

MORON are a new Western Massachussetts band made up of members of Hoax and Neutral Fixation, and they just put out a self-released 5 track demo tape of mostly high-energy heavy metal and snarling punk rock. It features the track “Confusion Foundation,” an almost-three-minute ode to the monotonous passage of time, the meaninglessness of our days, etc. It was recorded on a 1970s reel-to-reel by drummer Jaybo and Will at Dead Air. MORON makes music, in their own words, “with a focus on being RIDICULOUS.” But, as the demo makes plain, there's more to it than that.

Though cassettes are currently sold out, you can buy it digitally here, and stream the track below.
