Beach House's Teen Dream

Here's a track leaked out from Beach House's January-slotted third full length, Teen Dream on Sub Pop.

“Norway” is dense and gorgeous, and perhaps most noticeably, features what sounds like slightly down-pitched vocals by Victoria Legrand (or this is her huskiest delivery yet). This alongside modulated/detuned guitar wobbling in and out of the mix, and it seems that the duo have found new secret doors in their distinct sound.

There are plenty of tell-tale Beach House guitar arpeggios and tender, two chord sashaying, for those worried they are losing their babies to the demons of pop experimentation. I'm personally looking forward to hearing new tricks.
