NEW EViL, “Pale Skin Latin Girls”

Meredith Schneider

Los Angeles rock collective NEW EViL – comprised of Sophia Anita Reyes (vocals), Ian Bishop (guitar), Patrick Nagy (drums), and Joe Mitchell (bass) – may have been brought together by random happenstance on Craigslist, but their chemistry is palpable with every track they roll out. We’ve got their latest, “Pale Skin Latin Girls”, for your ears first.

Heavy, rough, well-composed instrumentals. Reyes’ vocals come in full force, inciting a badass, intense vibe with each line. Which is perfect, since Friday the 13th requires a little spooky with it.

Keep up with NEW EViL here.
