In the year since we spoke to him, UK-based Oscar has kept up a steady stream of track releases that have taken him from his bedroom beat roots, into the high gears of studio production. It shows especially on his newly released “Breaking My Phone”, which debuted yesterday on BBC radio and asks us to raise a glass and a shattered touch screen to lovelorn frustration once again, in an amped-up, nostalgic brit-pop timbre we haven’t heard from him before.
