Parrot Dream, “Light Goes (In Mines)”

Since moving to Brooklyn via Chile, dream-psych rockers Parrot Dream have been shaping a sound that blends their myriad experiences into something otherworldly. That all takes form on August 24th when they are set to release their debut full-length, Light Goes, via Good Eye Records.

Parrot Dream recently shared the album’s lead single, “Light Goes (In Mines),” which they detail:

“‘Light Goes (In Mines)’ was written as a reflection on the relationship between a father and child. It speaks of emotions often unexpressed and the desire to communicate stories buried and left untold. In this relationship, there is sometimes a sharp need to question deeply that goes unanswered. Mysteries remain unilluminated. This song is inspired in part by Gonzalo and his father.”
