Permanent Collection, “Kill”

Post Author:

Bay Area musician Jason Hendardy may be the driving force behind the dreamwave outfit Permanent Collection, but things are about to change. With the induction of two new members to form a scrappy three-piece, the group has now unveiled a series of releases, the first of which you can sample below. The standout track on One offs, B-sides, and Stuff is a triumphant, shoegazey, well rounded track with a fuzzed-out guitar solo to boot. We can imagine a young Robert Smith singing along, and with a guitar riff that is one part happy and sweet and another part melancholy, there's a hint of both the 80s and the 90s here.

The group will be releasing a 7-inch in the future, but for now, check out their 3-track EP through this link.
