The Auckland, New Zealand pop quintet Polyester – the band formerly known as Kip McGrath and comprised of collaborates Sylvia (vocals), Tane (guitar), Grelj (bass), Tim (guitar), and Keria (drums) – is releasing their new single “Ordinary Day”.
The effervescent tune and catchy lyrics bounce through your speakers and the volume begs to be turned up. The band is clearly, unapologetically a pop band as they point out on their Facebook page: “…making lovely pop music like a 12 pack of roses for yours ears.” This song makes you feel good and, really, that’s what you want in your music.
