Sat. Nite Duets, “Attached To The Lamp”

Here’s the latest exclusive single from Sat. Nite Duets, a rocker titled “Attached To The Lamp” from their upcoming album Air Guitar that’s set to drop September 16. Recorded at the Throwback Lounge in Sat. Nite Duets’ home state of Wisconsin and mastered at Saff Mastering in Chicago, IL, Air Guitar is an eclectic selection of songs that range from folk to punk with plenty of the band’s signature slacker pop in between.

“Attached To The Lamp” has a classic rock sound with shades of Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran that shine through as soon as the invigorating, exhilarating song kicks off. From there, it’s a joyful pop explosion full of a peppy lead guitar that skitters across the song before being unleashed and chased by the bass during a soaring solo. The verses are full of palm muted and reverb tinged bravado one can’t help but strut along to before pogoing along to the chorus. And let me tell you this: never before have I heard someone singing about “shit on (their) walls” sounding so catchy or fun.

So if you’re looking for a brief, but rollicking journey you’ll want to spin again as soon as the final notes play, Sat. Nite Duets have you covered. It’s a rip-roaring tune clocking in under three minutes that reveals a greater depth on repeat listens, something you’ll no doubt find yourself giving it.

Air Guitar is set for a September 16 release  on Father/Daughter Records and  is available  for pre-order now. You can follow Sat. Nite Duets on Facebook, Twitter, and Bandcamp.
