Statik Selektah ft. G-Eazy, Joey Bada$$, "Ain't A Damn Thing Change"

Post Author: Andre G

Statik Selektah has long been a go-to producer for sonics that harken to hip-hop’s golden, dusty break yore. That’s not to say the Massachusetts producer is strictly beholden to the grimey ’90s, but he excels at breathing new life into the format, as evidenced by his hefty catalog and rolodex which features a who’s who of respected spitters.
Ditto “Ain’t A Damn Thing Change,” the latest track crafted and curated by Selektah. The single is from 8, Selektah’s latest album of bangers which is set to be released on December 8th. G-Eazy and Joey Bada$$ trade verses on the glorious track, rhyming over singer Enisa’s lithe vocals. G-Eazy brags about his status and platinum plaques being Fedexed to his house, while Joey laments that he hasn’t even gotten to hang his own plaque up in his new house. Successful rapper problems.
Selektah got with other suffering-from-success artists like Wale and Juelz Santana for 8. In the meantime, you can stream “Ain’t A Damn Thing Change” below.
