Swedish Artist Constine Shares Powerful Debut Single

Swedish singer, songwriter, musician and producer Hanna Lindgren, known as Constine, has released her powerful, emotive new single ‘Never’, following up the success of her debut release ‘Die’ back in March. The new track, taken from her forthcoming EP, is a dark, atmospheric offering that showcases Constine’s unique vocal, described as “one of the most interesting in Sweden” by Kingsize Magazine
Her new music is being released independently, which is something she’s incredibly proud of: “Being by own boss just suits me the best because it means I’m in charge, I make all the decisions and most of all I’m in control. When it comes to something so personal and precious as your art I think you lose yourself if you let others decide for you what your art should look like or sound like.”
With its entrancing tones and attention-seizing, thumping backing, ‘Never’ has already made its way onto Spotify’s ‘New Alternative’ and ‘Indie & Alt’ playlists and looks set to continue the momentum building for one of Sweden’s most promising emerging talents. If you want elements of intrigue and mystery alongside great instrumental depth, ‘Never’ is an intricate composition that’s well worth checking out.
“Let’s pretend that we could never die, let’s pretend that none of this is a lie. It’s easy to do that, to keep your eyes shut for things you don’t want to see. To hear about the problems but choose not to listen. It’s better not to let anyone see you cry, they might think you’re weak and you don’t want that. But you cannot keep the charade up forever, things will come crashing down and so will you. Mom, I love you. It’s alright to cry.”
