The Pressure Kids, “Catherine in Moonlight”

College is a wonderful, wonderful thing, and an awesome place to meet new people and make new friends, and I would say that The Pressure Kids would agree. Coming from all over the country, the band met as college students after moving to Nashville, Tennessee, and the rest was history. They’ve been making music ever since, and we’ve got their latest track. It’s called “Catherine in Moonlight”, and it’s wonderful.

My first thought when I heard this track is that the vocals remind me slightly of Young the Giant, which makes me happy because who doesn’t love Young the Giant? The track has a very mellow and slightly beachy vibe to it, and we’re obsessed. Regarding the track, frontman Nick Johnston says, “We’ve sung this song on just about every stage that we’ve had the pleasure to step onto. we keep coming back to it simply because it just sort of feels like us and has felt like us through every incarnation of our strange and lovely little science project that is and has been and will always be the pressure kids. It’s our ode to being young and confused, wonderfully together and beautifully alone.”

Young and confused, wonderfully together and beautifully alone indeed.

Keep up to date with The Pressure Kids for future awesomeness.
