The Southern Companion Shine with “Songbird”
A British Band fronted by songwriter Darren Hodgson, The Southern Companion have been making waves in the UK Country Scene over the past few years.
Taking inspiration from U.S greats such as Tom Petty, The band have been fighting the Americana fight on UK Soil. Since emerging on the scene, they’ve racked up a number of awards in their genre and have toured the country extensively.
Before the release of their new album in 2019, they’ve shared ‘Songbird’. It’s a vintage approach to songwriting the exudes class, showcasing the skills the UK has to offer in a rich, diverse genre.
