If you’re looking for a guitar heavy song with a garage rock feel, Totally Slow‘s “Drug Mask” is exactly what you need in your life. It’s punk, it’s got that reverb, megaphone feel, and its fast tempo will keep you moving from start to finish. This isn’t uncharacteristic of the guys, as they regularly deal in immediacy. They are restless in their creativity, and their music truly knows no bounds. We’ve got the premiere of one of the masterpieces off their upcoming EP, and you already know you’re going to love it.
We will note that, although it takes a couple of spins to catch every word on “Drug Mask”, we laughed at the line “and we’ve got each other’s backs sometimes.” Was there ever any statement uttered more true than this?
