Wild Cub just put out their debut album, Youth, off of which we get the jubilant “Thunder Clatter” track, and which Jensen Sportag has just reworked into an even higher-flying Daft Punk-meets-yachtrock jam, oozing out carbonated summer cocktails between smooth cuts of synth. Besides, “you’re the love of my life” is a line best sung in pumped up falsetto.
