New Shahs song "Lover's Rock"
» Back in early July, we were pretty ecstatic to report on a ruffle in the bedroom pop continuum that was half scruffy outsider noise and the other half calypso dream pie.
Shahs is Tom Helgerson, times two.
The ex-member of To Kill A Petty Bourgeoisie, Tom Helgerson, is now based out of Montana and still trickling out scraps for a yet to be named full length album. This six-minute track rides on one vocal sample drum beat and his tell-tale wobbly synthesizer.
