New Shoes bring a westcentric Nikehead mentality

San Diego's New Shoes definitely have that new sneaker smell. I almost feel guilty covering this record, as it is littered with lawsuit worthy samples. Something tells me you can't pay back millions on a Foot Locker salary with commission.
The bold duo is probably safe from the sample police as long as they keep slanging shoes and tapes out of their Impala trunk. The Shoebox is an exceptional debut. I really wish I knew more about this group. For now, I am excited about some new So Cal talent.
