New: Tunnels, headed to disco

By Jason Diamond » In our very recent interview with Nick Bindeman, the Portland musician spoke about the slippery slop towards disco-inclinations that his long-running solo project Tunnels takes the more he brings it out to the bars, houses and clubs to perform it. Soon after publishing the piece, he sent along two examples of the most recent Tunnels work. In his words,

since lately I've started playing out doing either synth explorations or this minimal synth dance stuff I've been focusing on recording. For a hot minute I thought 'Tunnels' could just encapsulate everything, but as time goes on I'm tending to think it's ripe time to create a new moniker for the dance music.
