Asteroid No.4 announce new album and share first single

Formerly a Philly four-piece, Asteroid No.4 now has five members and operates out of Northern California, after a prolific decade and a half of making music. Today, they’re announcing their eighth full-length album, self-titled, and sharing the first single, “Rukma Vimana”. The album’s many space-rock experiments seem to revisit the band’s debut, digging up its highlights like Middle Eastern-tinged melodies, anthemic psych, and ’70s cosmic country rock, and positioning them anew. The new single is an exemplary cross between the band’s old paths in service of its new sound; kaleidoscopic, folky and hypnotic as ever.

The self-titled LP comes out September 23 on the UK imprint Bad Vibrations. Have a listen to their first single off the album, below.
