Bathetic just announced plans to re-release King Dude's My Beloved Ghost in an edition of 500 12-inches (100 of which will be pressed to white vinyl). This follows the original dubbing Bathetic released of the music in cassette form. The release will also include tracks from King Dude's Black Triangle 7-inch on Clan Destine records.
King Dude plays with some of his contemporary's gothic tropes but this is 100% pastoral folk, which feels so refreshingly dark and eternal and wonderfully absent of either electronics or discrete references to Middle Earth.
