Twitter, or social networking in general, has quite a way of reaffirming the lunatic in you.
Exene Cervenka, singer of seminal L.A. punk band X, took to the virtual platform to air her grievences with the goverment's latest murderous hoax, the Santa Barbara mass shootings.
A self-appointed “conspiracy therapist” practicing under “Christine Notmyrealname,” Cervenka believes her life mission is to connect the “truthers” with the non-truthers in a union to fix society. To that effect, she dug up and posted video footage on her Youtube channel that supposedly proves Elliot Roger is just pawn in yet another plot to push stricter gun laws. Other events on her list of brutally tragic hoaxes: Sandy Hook Elementary, Boston Marathon bombing and (even/of course) September 11, 2001.
While we're all about First Amendment rights and stuff, we can't help but wonder what special blend of neutrotransmitters bouncing around under Exene's streaky hair are generating this content. At least Cervenka's got one thing right: among the various modes of social media, conspiracy theories make the best Youtube fodder. Wonder what name she posts under on Reddit…
