fmly drops Minneapolis festival fundraising compilation

International DIY collective fmly just dropped a compilation tape in order to raise money via IndieGoGo for the upcoming fmly fest taking place in Minneapolis from August 3-9. A celebration of a global creative community, the event is planned through a series of public meetings and emphasizes a supportive, horizontally structured community space, where anyone is welcome to contribute. The festival itself will consist of bazaars, interactive art installations and synth-building workshops, all in addition to a series of house shows that will feature the (mostly) local likes of The Velveteens, Meth Dad and Claps. Sneak peek the festival with their promo tape below, which range from producer Chiffon’s sexy, waterlogged mixes to France Camp’s rambunctious garage rock, and gives you a good idea of what’s in store show-wise.
