Huichica Festival announces 2015 lineup

As one of the notable regions in California wine country, it’s in the Sonoma mentality to pair things. The founders of Huichica Festival Jeff Bundschu and Eric D. Johnson, an unlikely pair themselves, brought this savoir-faire to the curation of their two-day folk escape.

Partnered with (((folkYEAH!))) and now in its sixth year, Huichica Festival features a hand-picked lineup of national and regional indie and folk performers, paired with regional culinary talent, set free to roam on the Gundlach Bundschu winery estate. This year’s lineup is headlined by Bradford Cox’s solo project Atlas Sound, Amen Dunes, and Allah-Las, with additional sets by The Fresh and Onlys, Jessica Pratt, Sonny and the Sunsets, Shannon and the Clams, Pure Bathing Culture, and many more.

Food this year is provided by KronnerBurger, Blue Plate, The American Grilled Cheese Kitchen, Bicycle Bahn Mi, Q Craft Barbeque, Skylight Snowballs and Happy Moose Juice.

To offer a glimpse into the pairing that goes into Huichica, we have the following video of c0-founder Eric D. Johnson visiting Bunk Sandwiches in Portland, a food vendor from the 2014 festival, to discuss the best way to enjoy a muffuleta with a glass of wine.

Additionally the festival created a sampler to get a special taste of the 2015 lineup.

Huichica Festival is June 12 and 13. Tickets for Huichica start at $40 for Friday, $55 for Saturday and $85 for both days. Purchase tickets now via Ticketfly.
