Peaking Lights Announce New Album + Share First Single

Caitlin Greene

Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis are LA duo Peaking Lights, a group married to one another as well as to dub. Peaking Lights announced they will release their new 11-track album, Cosmic Logic, this Fall, following up 2012’s Lucifer.

Today, they’re sharing lead single “Breakdown”, a sensual, tropical dancehall jam referencing Le Tigre’s crisp drum machine goodness and Icona Pop‘s vocal clarity. Self-recorded in the duo’s newly built Los Angeles studio, the record was polished off with the helping hands of Matt Thornley (DFA, LCD Soundsystem). Cosmic Logic comes out October 6 via Weird World. Pre-orders are available through iTunes.
