THE LAB, powered by HP, places experiential digital art at the heart of a world-class music festival with interactive, museum-quality exhibition space and a massive 360 dome theater. THE LAB returns with an all new collection of innovative and immersive art installations created exclusively by New York City based artists. The sensory adventure continues in the massive dome, with a one-of-a-kind custom audio and visual show only at Panorama.
Building on the success of Despacio at Panorama’s debut, the festival introduces The Point this year, an open-air club celebrating New York City’s key role in the ongoing evolution of DJ culture and electronic music.  The Point is a shaded, misted dance party with continuous house and techno all day and night embedded in the center of the festival.  Also returning in 2017, Panorama will feature massive video screens covering the main stage end-to-end, innovative lighting design and world class audio at each of the stages.
A highlight of last year’s inaugural festival was the uniquely diverse selection of locally-sourced eats from the best restaurants throughout the five boroughs, paired with specialty drinks and craft beers that would impress any foodie.
Panorama takes its name from the Panorama of the City of New York, a nearly 10,000 square foot to scale model of the city located in the Queens Museum. Each pass buyer to the event will receive a pass for free admission to the Queens Museum to view the Panorama exhibit as well as the rest of the museum.
The festival is hosted at Randall’s Island Park, located along New York City’s East River.  The festival grounds are easily reachable by MTA bus, ferry, cab, bike and by foot via the RFK Bridge, the 103rd St. footbridge and Bronx Randall’s Island Connector.
The park is sustained, developed and programmed by the Randall’s Island Park Alliance (RIPA) (www.randallsisland.org). RIPA works with the City and local communities to provide an innovative and exciting destination through a wide range of sports venues, cultural events and environmental exploration. The Alliance also works to continue the park’s illustrious history as a destination for exciting city-wide special events.
