Northern Spy announces first annual Spy Music Festival

Spy Music Fest

Brooklyn-based label Northern Spy is throwing itself a giant party in honor of its first birthday. The first annual Spy Music Festival will take place in Brooklyn (duh), beginning at the Bushwick venue Shea Stadium on Saturday October 1 and continuing on to Zebulon Cafe in Williamsburg the following day. It will feature performances from 12 bands on the roster, including Haunted House, Dan Melchoir, and Zs, as well as a pop-up record fair—the whole thing promises to be forward-thinking and debauched in the spirit of the label, “a virtual orgasm” for “the collector, the musician, and the groupie alike”.
