The Julie Ruin announce new album on Hardly Art

The Julie Ruin are back with a new record on a new label, announcing the follow-up to 2013’s Run Fast, Hit Reset, will be released July 8 on Sub Pop subsidiary Hardly Art. The band featuring Kathleen Hanna, and her former Bikini Kill bandmate Kathi Wilcox, along with Kiki and Herb’s Kenny Mellman, Carmine Covelli, and Sara Landeau, made the news public with the release of the first single, “I Decide”, which is accompanied by a lyric video directed by Brendan Kennedy, and starring Waxahatchee‘s Katie Crutchfield walking the streets of Austin, TX during SxSW.
