Unsound Festival uploads a series of hand-drawn portraits done by attendees

When Unsound Festival in Poland banned photography and recording from their festival, it was a progressive move in favor of actually appreciating the music in real time. Now, a week after the event, attendees and fans have been uploading something even better than photographs: artwork that they made from memory of the performances. They are predictably great—not only in skill but in sentimentality. When forced to draw something from memory instead of scrolling through a thousand disposable photos on a screen, the art begins to take on greater depth. You can see the remainder of the portraits on Unsound's Facebook page. (via FACT)
