NYC: What to do on New Years Eve

And a megaclub ain't one.
New Years Eve is the holiday of choices, especially in New York, where the potential to make the wrong ones is always 80% higher than on the rest of the planet. Here are some options that don't make us want to throw up. Some of them actually look fun!
Choose your Friday night drug and marvel as we figure out over a dozen ways to describe cocaine.

Whoat?: The Inverted Cosmos party pits the night's best live sets (Ariel Pink solo and first show from Outer Limits Recording) with the outer burrough's finest spinners of new shit. Yes, you won't be able to wave a smart phone in the place without smacking into an Altered Zones blogger, but that's ok when it's all packed into one Bushwick warehouse on a night when you're really supposed to do "it" up.
