Øya Festival announces lineup

Norway’s premier summer festival, Øya has released their final lineup and boy is it a real doozy!

It includes the Godfather of Punk (Iggy & the Stooges), the Godfathers of Ska (The Specials), the Godfather of Chillwave (Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti) and hot girls with weird slinky tube things. Also added to the previously announced lineup are Yeasayer, The Black Angels, Die Antwoord, Broken Bells, Flaming Lips, Field Music and others.

According to the press release “Øya is hosting a serious of ØyaNight afterparties around Oslo outside of the festival grounds throughout the week.” Pretty sure they meant series but some of these acts playing ØyaNight are serious as shit, including Harlem, Grand Master Flash, Owen Palett, Caribou, Four Tet, and more.
