Some of our readers may remember Nothing Urgent, the bi-weekly radio show-turned-podcast that our founder Derek Evers hosted with Gothamist features editor Chris Robbins. After a brief hiatus from the airwaves, they’ve returned, bringing their talents to Red Hook—namely, the beautiful studios of Clocktower Radio.

In their triumphant return, Derek and Chris welcome Malportado Kids (and Downtown Boys), Victoria Ruiz and Joey DeFrancesco, and International Business Times labor reporter Cole Stangler to discuss the realities of the new labor movement. Fast food workers are demanding a living wage, bloggers are unionizing, and the 2016 presidential candidates are eager to attack each other’s corporatist ties; it’s a new era on Nothing Urgent.
