» Here's another bedroom project that we hope survives its inception.
18-year old Torontan Lavurn Lee operates as Raver and has recorded his first three EPs in the past three or four months.
Characterized largely by what sounds like a thick, slow-moving haze, his work embodies a Spaceman dreaminess without gravity, hovering along the curvature of an atmosphere that clears occasionally to reveal the skeletal forms of two chord drones and melancholy melodies, as well as deft guitar work and plenty of careful overdubs worked out in the flatlands of Audacity.
