If you have not been following along the Brooklyn outfit Recess is comprised of soul boys The Clubhouse and rapper Sene. The Clubhouse made our Best of February list with its Live At The Clubhouse EP. The group continues its hot streak with the Recess EP.
We've been bumping "Escalators" since the summer, enjoying the swagger of The Clubhouse's blue notes and Sene keeps the vibes in that smoothed out soul as tracks like "The Gentleman" detail Sene's daily operations of keeping it classy, despite the fit of his jeans.
The Recess EP features guest verses from Blu, Donwill, Fresh Daily and Nicholas Ryan Gant.
