Serengeti solo on Anticon

By Blake Gillespie » With a special appearance by Kenny the Mechanic.

Serengeti is everywhere. It's to a point that I just assume the man never stops traveling. Still with all his collab projects like Friday Night and Tha Grimm Teachaz and albums with Polyphonic, Serengeti cannot escape his Chicago roots.

Dennehy introduced us to Geti's alter-super-Chicagoan-ego "Kenny" and he's back on the Jel and Odd Nosdam produced "Perculators" - which yes, does make reference to the legendary Cajmere records hit. Like all great Chicagoans, Kenny can name all the players on the Bears roster that starts with "B".

With videos for "Perculators" and a track called "Flutes" surfacing, the release date for Serengeti's Anticon solo cannot be far off, but the Ant label has yet to make an announcement on a release date.
