The songwriting duo of Charlie McArthur and Craig Ramsey have a knack for writing indelible pop tunes in the vein of the classic singles of the 50s and 60s. That's why it didn't surprise us one bit to hear The Bears released an exclusive Christmas single just in time for the season.

Entitled Snowman, the 7-inch will be a limited pressing of 250 on red vinyl with hand-screened covers (by the band). The A-side single, "I'm a Snowman", is not your typical holly-jolly Christmas song. In fact, it's kind of like Frosty singing the blues about the perils of living as a snow-based being. By foregoing the typical, they've given us a song that is perfect for the Holidays, but one that won't make us feel stupid for listening to after the snow has melted. Yet another reason The Bears voice in pop remains one of the most original.
