Of Montreal recently sent us notice of the release of their new record, Paralytic Stalks, and it really got us thinking about our vocabulary. Lots of Of Montreal song titles and album titles seem to be of the verbose variety, either with a vaguely medical or horticultural flavor, like the aforementioned upcoming album, reminiscent of a time when people labeled apothecary bottles with obscure names of tinctures or salves.
