We have been waiting for a some gnarly sax interjections thrown into a down tempo Oh Sees track, one that opens like it could be some hard bop intro that's about to get proto-funky, but grinds the ol' rock axe out to its logical end: buzz saw solos and druggy guitar delay thwacking and absolutely no sign of that intro saxophone.*
Lo, that very track has arrived:

"Carrion Crawler" is the first leak off of Thee Oh See's Carrion Crawler/The Dream, out November 15 on In The Red.
*(One can only hope it was still reeling from a solo off the previous track.)
