With Tyler, The Creator's signing to XL Recordings, he joins the ranks of Radiohead, M.I.A., and The Cool Kids.
Riding a swag-rocket to the top with minimal beats and thick slimy flows Tyler's carved out a crisp style that got XL's attention back in November when the label flew him and his Odd Future to New York to play a show. His second album, Goblin will be released through XL in April and will no doubt give a minty fresh voice to their roster. With his promising single "Yonkers," it will be interesting to see if he can keep up the pace.
