What the Heck Fest 2011
This year marks the 10th What The Heck Fest in Anacortes, Washington, an annual festival which coincides with a huge citywide rummage sale known as Shipwreck Day. It promises to be both surprising and magical as well as an actual community event.
A celebration of "the ethics and aesthetics of ambiguity"; it will take place from July 15-17 in locations throughout the city and will include performances from a variety of musicians -- including Angelo Spencer, Karl Blau, and Wyrd Visions -- as well as presentations of art, literature, movies, and other undefinables. It attracts festivalgoers from all over the world and includes a full meal along with the performances. Tickets are now on sale here.
