Yacht compile space age disco

When Claire Evans is not crafting synth-pop anthems as one half of Yacht, she's blogging about sci-fi on Space Canon and Universe. In an odd twist of intersecting hobbies, Evans managed to collect enough sci-fi themed disco to compile an hour-long mixtape. Fly On, UFO is an abduction into the alien territory of sci-fi disco, a sub-genre that is suprisingly dedicated to the themes of dystopia, android love, teleportation and unidentified flying objects. Seriously, none of these songs are loosely applicable inclusions. Each song was clearly written with an intergalactic future in mind.
Yacht's Shangri-La is out June 21 on DFA.
