Yelawolf, one of Impose's artists to watch in 2010, recently dropped his hugely anticipated mixtape, Trunk Muzik.
An Alabama rapper/skater who spits like a machine gun over Dungeon Family spirited music, Yelawolf presents Trunk Muzik less as a mixtape than as a complete album that achieves an eerie, sometimes somber vibe while still delivering on that aggressive, banging bass that makes it southern rap. The beauty of this release will be the national southern rap haters who won't be able to deny Trunk Muzik, and certainly won't be able to deny Yelawolf, who proves himself to be a shockingly well-rounded, polished MC on every single record.
