Nothing nasty about Yuck's NSFW "Shook Down"
» Mmmmmm, forbidden fruit.
Naturally, one would assume that every release from a band named Yuck would be riddled with disturbing imagery, brash lyrics, and rambunctious cacophony, but "Shook Down" is beautiful from image to sound. More like an art-house tribute to 2004's Secret Window, "Shook Down" draws on the evil story of the forbidden fruit and balances it out with a dream-like flow overwhelmed with innocence.
"Shook Down" is the first of two A-sides from their upcoming self-released 7", due out July 11.
