Zs to release double 7-inch "33"
» Sign to Northern Spy, as they should.
Really going for it with the cover art.
A prototypical Zs scat fantasy erupts over the course of their new double 7-inch, obfuscated further by its song titles - "33", "33\", "33~", and "33/". The most tonally unambiguous, and celestially-bound, is "33~", which bundles up a bubbly manifestation of Ben Greenberg's Hubble tactics with a nebulous swarm of percussion from Ian Antonio, and a most-groovily filtered sax drone from Sam Hillmer. Zippy.
The double 7-inch release comes as the first in a series of objects to be pumped out by ESP-escape hatch Northern Spy on the behest of the band. Look out for more 7-inches, as well as "solo releases, box sets and more."
