Thanks to WFMU for digging out this nugget, which apparently was part of 1991’s never-released Sweet Insanity, an apt title for this track as well. Amazingly, the album contained a cameo by Bob Dylan but ultimately wasn’t released by Sire. God knows why. It could have landed him a new career somewhere between David Hasselhoff, Captain Kirk and that transvestite with the mustache and the ding dong song.
