To herald the release of his new album, Women As Lovers, Xiu Xiu’s Jamie Stewart has set up the foundations for an ambitious webzine, including a video magazine with a Greg Saunier (Deerhoof) interview about Star Trek, a long distance karaoke contest in which you can download an instrumental of “Untitled: Will You Please Sing On” and sing over it, and the potentially unsustainable promise to write a Haiku for the first 234 people who photograph themselves holding a copy of the new album.

The site also includes a link to a selected photo gallery of the polaroids shot by David Horowitz to be included in an upcoming split 7″ between Xiu Xiu and High Places.
